The women's Masala hardshell jacket is built like a house; tough walls, comfy interior and lots of windows to let air in. Wear it on stormy days or remove the powder skirt for warmer spring tours. For 2012, the Masala uses a super tough nylon shell fabric with a 20K/20K waterproof breathable barrier. The sleeves are ‘set-in’ for a good fit that allows for layering without bunching up. . Follow instructions on the bottle.

- Wash garments in cold water with mild detergent. Hand washing is best, otherwise front-loading machines only. Rinse thoroughly and line dry. Use Nikwax Tech Wash and Nikwax TX-Direct(wash in DWR) or similar products when possible.
