Nice looking but not very functional. Door does not close on it's own, you have to first close it, then line up the door to the holes to seal it closed, so you have to concentrate on it every time you want to close it! Opening it is a hassle as well. First you have to unhook the latch which is not smooth at all, it gets stuck, so it takes you 2 to 3 times to do it, then you have to slide it open, THEN you swing it open. This is not a recommended gate unless you want to drive yourself crazy.

This exact thing is 79.99 on babies r us website right now. Not even on sale...Why pay more than double? And I really don't like Babies R us, but figured I had to say something when I saw this crazy high price.

This exceptionally designed gate put the parents at ease! We are extremely impressed with its functionality and accessories to enable easy mounting on spindles and the wall. Other gates did not have all the accessories to enable mounting like this one. Plus, we really like the wooden look. Most important to all, this is extremely safe!
